eFLASHER VIII (X-10) This eFLASHER VIII unit is designed to alert both computer and videoconference user when they are too far from the T.V., reading books on the couch while cannot hear the ringing sound, including telephone. Also, user cannot hear the speaker's sound, or monitor is turned off for saving electricity power. With the eFLASHER VIII unit, the user will not miss any new incoming e-mail, IP-VRS, VRS, or videochat signal, plus TTY calls. eFLASHER VIII provides one (1) flash for each regular telephone ring, double-flashes (2) for each Broadband ring, three flashes (3) for computer call. All of them are distinguished noticeable flashing signal lamp. eFLASHER VIII units come with a special switch feature. The switch contains a "soft flashing" mode which turns the light on and off slowly and gently for those who have the "sudden light flashing syndrome" (so-called in medical name of Petit Mal Epilepsy) to prevent seizures. eFLASHER VIII unit is great for X-10 users. With the proper connection, it will transmit to any remote wireless lamp receivers.
