This eFLASHER V unit is designed to alert the videophone user when they are too far from the T.V., reading books on the couch while cannot hear the ringing sound, including telephone. With the eFLASHER V unit, the user will not miss any new incoming IP-VRS, VRS, or videochat signal via videophone ringing. eFLASHER V model (EFL500) provides one (1) flash for each regular telephone ring and double-flashes (2) for each videophone ring for a distinguished noticeable flashing signal lamp. eFLASHER V model (EFL501) provides double-flashes (2) for each videophone ring. No regular telephone ring is connected to this unit. eFLASHER V units come with a special switch feature. The switch contains a "soft flashing" mode which turns the light on and off slowly and gently for those who have the "sudden light flashing syndrome" (so-called in medical name of Petit Mal Epilepsy) to prevent seizures.
